In order to develop a potential in every student, the School offers training in many artistic disciplines: vocal and instrumental music, theatre, dance, art and design, drawing, painting, computer aided designing etc.
There are an acoustically treated music room, art/craft room, prayer room in the impressive Creative and Performing Arts Centre. Auditorium is used for drama, music and dance performances. Students are encouraged to show their work in exhibitions and become accustomed to public performance, both to demonstrate their skills and increase their self-confidence.
The School offers a wide variety of sports. It has excellent games fields, outdoor courts for Basketball and Volleyball. The vast expanse of land on campus enables sports such as running to be available. Coaching is offered in all sports and the School’s aim is to make sports fun and enjoyable, at the same time developing skills, co-ordination, stamina and sportsmanship. Students would be encouraged to take part in expeditions and excursions away from School.
Music & Dance
“Music washes away from the soul, the dust of everyday life.” There is a wide spectrum of opportunity for the kids outside the classrooms. Fill these activities contribute to overall development of the student and form a valuable part of growing at Sophia. Young kids will enjoy Western and Classical Dance under the guidance of expert dance teachers.
Games and Sports
Physical training, Games and Athletics are employed to the best advantage to promote physical fitness and a healthy spirit of competition. The school will have ample outdoor and indoor games.
